Luke Hill is the Director of Data Systems and Debate Programs
at the National Association for Urban Debate Leagues. Since joining the
NAUDL in July 2012, he has worked to expand access to debate for students in
urban school districts across the country. Luke currently focuses on
helping debate leagues utilize data to improve their programming and
organizational efficiency. In addition, he manages all public debates and
debate activities sponsored by the NAUDL.
Luke Hill has nearly a decade of experience coaching debate at the college and high school levels. Prior to joining the NAUDL, he coached debate at Northwestern University where his students consistently excelled, winning the 2011 National Debate Tournament (NDT). Previously, he coached high school debate in Illinois and Georgia. In addition, to his work as debate coach he taught history at Chattahoochee High School outside of Atlanta, Georgia. His students excelled at both local and national level competition, winning 2 state titles. Luke earned both his undergraduate degree in Social Policy and his Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University.
