Ravin brings national leadership experience in educational access, nonprofit strategy, and institutional partnership building. Most recently, he served as Director of the American Bar Association Council for Diversity in the Educational Pipeline, where he led national initiatives, including the Judicial Clerkship Program and the Legal Opportunity Scholarship Fund. In those roles, he partnered with national leaders in the legal profession to expand access to law school and judicial service.
A former nationally ranked high school debater, Ravin has long credited debate with shaping his academic and leadership trajectory. Ravin credits debate with opening the door to higher education, enabling him to attend Howard University on a full scholarship as a member of its Speech and Debate Team.
As President and Chief Executive Officer, Ravin will lead NAUDL’s national strategy and drive alignment and impact across its network of 20 member leagues. A core focus of his leadership will be cultivating partnerships with the private sector, public school districts, philanthropic organizations, and college and university debate programs, all in service of expanding access to the skills that fuel academic achievement and long-term opportunity for students.
Jason holds degrees from Howard University, the London School of Economics, and Cornell University.
