Jason Ravin

My tenure as President & CEO of the National Association for Urban Debate Leagues will conclude on August 15, 2026. Serving the urban debate community has been a privilege. I am grateful for the opportunity to join a movement whose mission has transformed the lives of young people for almost a half-century.

During my tenure, I worked to strengthen NAUDL’s financial foundation and deepen partnerships with member leagues to expand opportunities for student participation.

I am especially grateful to the executive directors, coaches, teachers, students, alumni, donors, volunteers, and partners across the country whose tireless efforts sustain urban debate. Their commitment to expanding educational opportunity through debate remains a profound asset, and it has been an honor to work alongside them.

I remain deeply committed to expanding opportunity and creating pathways that help people develop the skills, confidence, and leadership necessary to succeed.

I look forward to continuing that work in the years ahead.
