Luke Hill is the Director of Data Systems & Performance Management at the National Association for Urban Debate Leagues (NAUDL). Since joining NAUDL in 2012, he has built the organization’s data platform, pioneers new technology adoption, and designs visualizations enabling 20 urban debate leagues to tell their impact story. A former debate coach, Luke spent nearly a decade coaching at both the college and high-school levels, including Northwestern University’s 2011 National Debate Tournament champions. He holds a B.A. in Social Policy and an M.P.P.A. from Northwestern University and is a Salesforce Certified Administrator.

Luke’s own debate background drew him to NAUDL’s mission of expanding educational equity through debate. Luke uses data to equip leagues and NAUDL with actionable insights that improve programming and fundraising. Now in his thirteenth year with the organization, he leads NAUDL’s data strategy, trains league staff on technology tools, and partners with researchers and donors to document and scale debate’s academic benefits for thousands of students nationwide.

Luke earned both his undergraduate degree in Social Policy and his Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University.
